EasyBooks Accounting App Reviews

I find this app simple and easy to understand and use, it does exactly what its supposed to do! Being able to input and control you account on the move is a must for me. I would buy and iPad just for this app! I do hope they make this app across other platforms as apple is limited in the software available to their systems and it is necessary for business to use PC,s too, so if the app was developed for Window 8 I would defiantly give it 5 stars, hence thats why it has 4 in this review

I am happy I chose easy books as my application to personal finance management. It is also a good tool to practice bookkeeping, but in a much more fun way. Too bad I cant export data do excel sheet, though.

Die App ist erstaunlich gut und liefert nahezu alles, was ein kleines Unternehmen oder ein Einzelkaufmann für die Buchführung benötigt. Allerdings fehlen mindestens folgende Features: 1) Deutsche Sprache, da nach Abgabenordnung die Aufzeichnungen zwar in einer anderen als der deutschen sprache möglich sind, dann aber eine Übersetzung gefordert werden kann. Außerdem kann es bei Engl. zu leicht zu Fehlern führen. 2) Anbindung an ein Bankenprogramm. Ohne Online-Banking ist das Programm wirklich nur bedingt sinnvoll. Zumindest müsste das Auslesen der Kontoauszüge und das anschließende Buchung der Transaktionen möglich sein. Besser wäre natürlich noch eine Integration einer vollen Online-Banking Lösung. The App is astonishing good and provides nearly all features a small company or sole-interpretneur needs for his/her bookkeeping. However there are at least two features missing: 1) German languange, as german tax law do grant the possibility to prepare accounts in another living language, however tax authority may (and will) ask for translations. Furthermore a foreign language increases the risk of error. 2) Integratin of online-banking. At least the app should be able to read online bank accounts and give the possibility to transform the data into journal entries. Full integration of an online-banking solution would be preferable. (just found out iOutBank can export bank account data into a file, maybe EasyBooks can import such a file ?) Beside this the app has a hight potential to become a major player in the app store for business apps.

And im working in finance more than 20 years. Easy for not pros to understand and to run a small business. Ja, immer die Deutschen, die kein englisch sprechen koennen beschweren sich :-))

Great App.!! Only Thing to improve: Would like to Take Pictures of My receipts and Save them weithin My Transfers, so i can Directory See, what exactly the Money was spent for.

I bought this a day before it was offered for free. Some timing. I am a musician and have always struggled with the bookkeeping. I was looking for an app that would help me keep chaos at bay. This one does just that. Its flexibility lets me tailor it to my situation, and has made my life much simpler. When I had questions, they were answered the next day via email. My only suggestion would be to put an owners manual on your web site.

Its very nice to see a Double Entrey book keeping solution for iPhone, even though its pricy. However to send reports and backups to the desktop, it only supports email which is not satisfactory. It really needs to support WiFi for reports, backup/restore, and export/import. The user interface has a lot of room for improvement. There are many nice ideas that can be borrowed from expence tracking application (eg. Pocket Money & iXpenseIt). The power of a double-entry with ease of use and good user interface makes perfect solution.

Does what it says it does works flawlessly great portable finance for a small business

Probably the most useful app I have on my iPad, great for managing small business as well as personal finances. Absolutely wonderful!

This app is very easy for me to use. My only accounting experience is at school in a class, and everything in this app makes perfect sense to me and I love it!

With EasyBooks, you may not need a manual to help you apply. Everything is cooked for you, right in the application. It is my best app on my iPhone.

This app is BRILLIANT. Not only does it do ever thing they say but, does it effortlessly. Best money Ive ever spent.

Changed the rating to excellent. Just needs a little better instructions on apps when updates are somewhat major.

Tried the free version and liked it a lot, easy to use and will buy full version. So straight forward. At first I couldnt figure out how to create recurring transactions but finally solved it and now I change rating to a 5.

This app is excellent for users who want a mobile accounting system for small business or personal transactions. The pre-defined account structures allow for great standard reporting with ease. One thing that would make this app better would be a place to put transaction type (ATM, DEPOSIT, DEBIT, etc.) or cheque number so that you could easily trace transactions. Also would be nice to add sub accounts to allow for a further categorization of revenue and expenses.

Having used MYOB on the PC platform for years, and attempting numerous times to migrate to other software, I had just about given up on the notion of ever escaping from my old accounting. I was really, really impressed with EasyBooks - it was very intuitive, and the response from their support was very quick, and helpful. I would highly recommend this programme to anyone wanting to do their own small business accounting.

Ive since read your user guide through and all your testimonials and Ive played with your Demo. I havent found anything disturbing yet .I think its worth a 70 $ gamble. Its not like I havent been hosed before . Ill be back to update my review after I get neck deep into it.

1.very flexible almost every account can be modified to suit personal needs. 2.real double entry system and well designed. Easy adjust refund, credit card and even payroll. 3. A little bit accounting knowledge helps a lot. However, every one can handle basic transaction. 4. Strong report system, tax calculation, trace GST HST ( in Canada). 5. Small in size, efficient, sync with desktop application.

I compared it to quickbooks and found it lacking in functionality - still a fair product -

Ive been a QuickBooks user for the past 15 years and finally decided to look for something else after countless years of frustration with poor Mac support and instability in their newest versions. Easy Books has very intuitive interface (iPad) and it does absolutely everything I need from an accounting program. I previously used QuickBooks for point of sale and inventory tracking but I never felt it did either of those functions particularly well so I do not miss them in Easy Books. This software does everything I need it to do for my Canadian business. The simplicity of Easy Books layout and features makes this program much more useful than QuickBooks ever was.
