EasyBooks Accounting App Reviews

It looks as though it could be an excellent app. Just one question. How do I enter my banking and credit card details into the app? Does the app auto update all of this information? Ok, so it was two questions. Any of you know? I would greatly appreciate your response. Thanks.

I have used this for over year now. The customer support when there has been a problem (only twice) has been great and I feel the in-app purchase options that are given are generally fairly priced and well thought out in terms of what different businesses need. You are given a chance to see if it works for you.

App crashes before it even opens

The app has a ton of options for budgeting. Unfortunately, thats not always a great thing. The app is ugly and bland and confusing. Maybe if it was made to be more than just white with black text, and everything was explained a bit more, it would be better.

Perfect for my small cleaning business. I enter my customers information, make inactive the customers I no longer clean for, see my monthly reports and so much more. The only downfall is the cost of in-app purchases for invoices. I can buy Quicken for cheaper. So I hope the makers of this app reconsider the price. Would love to see it calculate State taxes and set up calendar reminders.

Add the option to select which invoices to pay. Then the app will display in the description the invoice number and amount on the total section for each invoice and a "total amount payed" in the bottom which shows the total of all the invoices selected. Delivery date and time PLEASE. Trust me its not only me its all of us that are rating your app.

Very flexible. I detest accounting apps that try to hide the accounts and the debits and credits. Easy Books gives you access to the underlying accounts. Biggest problem for me is lack of support for cash-basis accounting. I cant prepare and send an invoice and then not have the amounts due appear as income (and in the P&L) until I receive payment. Support person tried to give me a workaround that didnt make sense. I can add a temporary adjustment I call Bad Debt reserve so the total sales nets to zero, but they still clutter up the P&L. Maybe I could hide these accruals off-books by keeping a second set of books, but that is a nasty kluge. And frankly Im not sure if its possible to move transactions or balances between companies. The reports are kind of basic. And the invoices dont look very professional. This product could give Quickbooks a serious run for its money if they made a few enhancements.

Easybooks is an excellent app for keeping track of business or personal accounts and expenses. The online synchronization features work great. Id give it 5 stars if the reporting features were better and more customizable.

This is a nice app for keeping record of your business, for me it works incredible. Ill just add the option to manage different currency option to the same business because I work with them and its hard to adjust in the app. I hope you can add that option, thanks.

Ive been working in the field of Accounting for 33 years and this App is as good as any Accounting Software Ive ever used. The only thing I would like to see different is a more American looking Balance Sheet where Current Assets and Current Liabilities are listed before Long Term Assets and Long Term Liabilities. This is not a big problem though. I can live with it the way it is. Any purchase price for add-ons is minimal. Its well worth it. LES

I never write reviews, but Im gonna have to for this amazing app. If youre a small business owner and want to keep things simple, effective, convenient, and cheap, EasyBooks is for you. Ive wasted so much money on accounting software with all the bells and whistles but the reality of it, some of us dont need all that. Some of us need something simple, and thats EasyBooks. The only thing I do have to suggest is an American setting. Great job overall, I have been recommending this to everyone.

This is a really amazing app. It is a simple way for me to manage my small business accounting. If you havent yet, give it a try. They give you a bunch of free transactions then you pay a one time fee for an unlimited amount. I really like their business model!

This app is great, I have started my own business and it is so easy to use! The only think I would suggest would be an email for specific help questions. Im not in Twitter or Facebook and an email would make it feel a little more personal when the very rare question comes up.

Extremely disappointed! Went to do the app update. Couldnt update. Kept telling me update didnt work, retry or cancel. In the meantime, no way to open the app. Only way to get it to work was to delete the app and reinstall. This, of course, also deletes ALL my data. Fortunately I had done a backup. Unfortunately the backup was over a month old. Dont know what the problem was but if this continues on future updates, its an app killer for me. Lesson for me - do frequent backups. Lesson for easybooks - make sure updates work before locking out app!

Its one of the best apps I have used so far but its missing few reports such as reports showing all transactions between 2 dates.

What do you want for accounting? Solid (no crashes, data loss) Simple interface. Customizable accounts, taxes etc. Smart form filling. Clean clear reports. Its all here! Ive never been happier with an app from the start. Ive replaced quickbooks with it for two businesses. My one problem is no web/windows portal, mac only.

People are complaining about how crappy Quickbook and other accounting apps are. Easybook has none of those. Sail smooth with no error. Also, the creator keeps improving it. Getting better and better. I am impressed. Yes, it looks dull. But who cares? After all this is accounting. Having said that, i think the app will attract a lot more gen-y clients if there is a little more cutie cosmetics. One problem : "online sync 6" is too expensive for me. Marginal cost outweighs marginal benefit. Id rather keep backing up manually. Moreover, if attached photos can be shown right in the app, it d be nice. So I can see the photo of the meal and the receipt in the expense detail.

At some point they changed the free transaction limit from 120 to 60, and Im missing data as a result. I was planning to pay when I hit the limit, but I cant trust the app to keep my data safe any more.

I have been looking for an inexpensive small business accounting app for awhile but didnt want a monthly subscription as I have sporadic income and lower transaction volume. This app fits the bill. The one time unlimited transaction charge was easy to swallow. I also noticed the abrupt change from 120 to 60 free transactions but fortunately hadnt reached the limit. Would like to see 1/10th hour increments in the time tracker. Easy interface. Easy to see and modify transactions. Great app for a new small business owner with little accounting understanding.
